What to expecT

Walking into a new church for the first time can feel both exciting and nerve-wrecking, but remember this: every person here was new at some point, too. We have been waiting for you. Whether you come with questions, burdens, or joy in your heart, you are stepping into a community that is ready to embrace you just as you are.

What to wear: We keep things relaxed and casual. You’ll find people in jeans, shorts, dresses, or business casual attire—whatever suits them best. There’s no need to dress a certain way here; just come as you are and wear whatever makes you comfortable!

Parking: There is ample parking, but know that we do share the rec center with others in the community. There is parking in front of the building with handicap spots available. There is street parking for overflow and we can’t wait for the overflow! Let what we do in the center fill the streets out there!

Children: We love the children that come through our doors. If you have children, stop by the Abide Kids Ministry check-in table located in the service room. Our Abide Kids team will help you register your children using our check-in system and the children will depart to their service when dismissed. Each weekend will be a wonderful time of learning and fun for everyone K4-5th grade. We encourage kids of all ages to participate in the body therefore hearing the newborns and toddlers in service is not uncommon. They will only be that little for a short season, so let the children come to Jesus.

Morning Coffee & Fellowship: Isn’t it amazing how the best conversations often happen over a great cup of coffee? We think so too! That’s why each week we provide a welcoming space stocked with coffee, refreshments and snacks. They’re completely free for everyone, and you’re welcome to bring them with you to enjoy during the service.

Service: Service is the time when we gather to celebrate and learn together. We begin with a time of singing that lasts about 20 minutes, a time of praise and prayer for about 15 minutes and then a bible-based message that lasts about 40 minutes. You may also hear announcements for upcoming events, people sharing life stories, baptisms, and communion. Overall the service will last 75-85 minutes.

Praise & Prayer: We like to set time in the middle of our service to connect to one another through a time of praise and prayer. This is a time to listen in and to share (where you are comfortable). There is nothing more encouraging than to know that someone is praying with you and for you whether you are celebrating on the hill tops or sitting quietly in the valley, we are with you.
