I’m New
Our Story:
In the busyness of life, a group of everyday people gathered in the living room of a small and modest home. We are teachers, social workers, tech experts, county workers, stay-at-home moms, business professionals and nurses —each of us with our own lives and struggles. But we all shared one thing: a deep longing to follow God’s calling for our family and for our city.
We met to pray and seek guidance from mentors and coaches. We sat in the scriptures and shared our hearts in deep conversation, and asked God to reveal His plan for our family and our city. One evening, as we studied John 15, the words of Jesus struck us with profound clarity: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.”
It was then that we felt the stirring of a mission—to plant a church, not for the sake of buildings or programs, but to create a place where people could connect to the true Vine, Jesus Christ. We envisioned a community that would grow together, sharing the mission and priorities of Jesus.
What started in a home on Easter Resurrection Sunday March 31, 2024 to now hosting worship services in a borrowed community center. We welcome everyone—those who have drifted from faith, those who have never known it, and those yearning for a place to belong. The focus is simple: to abide in Jesus, invite others to do the same, and multiply.
This journey is a reminder that God doesn’t call the qualified—He qualifies the called. When we remain in Him, our lives and communities can bear fruit far beyond what we could imagine. May it encourage you to step out in faith and trust in the Vine, Jesus, for all seasons of life.
